The pop legend used his time at the podium to challenge other world leaders to match his efforts in pursuit of a cure. John's charity has raised over £300 million.

TV Shows help break songs into mainstream
Behind the Goliath that is streaming lies a sleeping giant. 'Sync' - the industry term used in reference to the addition of an artists into a TV show or film has quickly grown into the second largest musical subsidiary behind streaming. Programmes such as Love Island are now seen as viable platform from which to launch a song, with Freya Ridings' single 'Lost Without You' reaching platinum status after she soundtracked a pivotal TV moment. Elliot Roberts passes away
Widely regarded as one of the greatest managers in music history and an industry titan, Former Neil young manager Elliot Roberts tased away this week. Tributes have poured in from friends, co-workers and young himself, who described his as 'the greatest manager to ever live'
