BTS are first korean act to headline Wembley

South Korean super group BTS, who have won over fans around the globe in a fashion not seen since Beatlemania, have etched themselves into the history books as the first Korean group to headline Wembley Stadium. Alongside the likes of Muse, Foo Fighters and other giants in the industry, the asian boy band performed live to upwards of 60,000 fans.


Primavera become first festival to go 50/50

The first of the largest festivals in the world has achieved the goal they set years ago of having an entirely gender balanced line up. Primavera Barcelona announced the news in the past week, calling on other large festivals to follow suit ahead of their 2022 deadline. With artists such as Janelle Monáe and Miley Cyrus headlining stages, its a remarkable feat and one that should set an industry standard.


Taylor Swift Urges Senate to Pass Equality Act in Letter to Tennessee Senator

Ever the political advocate, Swifty has again thrown her proverbial hat into the ring, calling on Republican Senator Lamar Alexander to back an upcoming LGBTQ+ equality bill, which faces opposition in her home state of Tennessee. I'm sure like all American Republicans, he'll approach this letter with the aim and thoughtful measures it deserves (He's yet to respond. Funny that.)


Elton John condems removal of gay sex scenes from Rocketman

Elton John has hit out against Russia, the bastion of equality and human rights that it is, for removing the gay sex scenes from his biopic 'Starman.' Portrayed by Taron Egerton, the movie portrays the sexual relations pursued by John in real life, which were cut in accordance with Russia strict anti-gay legislation.


R. Kelly hit with 11 new allegations

It what has truly been a year to remember for the alleged sexual predator, R. Kelly has been hit with another slew of allegations that paint him in a less than favourable light. if convicted, he could spend up to 30 years in prison. Kelly and has yet to respond to these charges as of yet,
